Purity Gas is more commonly recognized for helping manufacturers generate their own nitrogen gas, but they are also immersed in the Canadian motorsports scene.
Their latest move is sponsoring race car driver Tyson Balbosa, who recently signed with Auto Eclectic Motorsports (AEMS). AEMS provides custom support, management, and logistics solutions to drivers, including for the Emzone Radical Cup Canada (RCC) presented by Michelin, organized by FEL Motorsports. Balbosa will drive the Radical SR3XX, #7 in the Auto Eclectic fleet. His entire season entry fee will be covered by Purity Gas.
Striving to be the best
Chris Styles, one of the founders of Purity Gas, explained how shared values make Balbosa and Purity Gas a good match.

Expanding opportunities in Canadian motorsports
Styles added that his company’s relationship with Auto Eclectic Motorsports plays an important role in reaching a wider goal – to advance Canadian motorsports.
”We’re all in this to do things the right way. Yes, we want to win, but we also want to increase awareness and support of premier Canadian race events and exciting up-and-coming drivers.”
Mark Boyd, Team Principal of Auto Eclectic Motorsports, said sponsorship of Canadian talent is needed yet rare, making support from Purity Gas welcome and valuable.

For Balbosa, signing with AEMS to compete in the RCC, made possible with support from Purity Gas, is a dream come true.

Nitrogen gas in industry and in motorsports
Purity Gas gives manufacturers the ability to generate their own nitrogen gas inside their facility using the NITROCENTER® system, or outside in the first-of-its-kind NitroVault® enclosure. Their experts engineer a nitrogen gas generation system suited to each client’s unique infrastructure and application. These on-site systems replace the traditional delivery of nitrogen gas.
Common industrial uses for nitrogen gas include laser cutting, metal fabrication, food and beverage production, oil and gas, and chemical manufacturing.
Nitrogen has smaller scale uses in motorsports, such as in tires, suspension systems, and air jacks. Purity Gas is the exclusive provider of on-site nitrogen for the two FEL Motorsports racing series – the Sports Car Championship Canada (SCCC) presented by Michelin and the Emzone Radical Cup Canada (RCC) presented by Michelin.
Support throughout the season
Styles said he and the Purity Gas team are looking forward to cheering on Balbosa throughout the 2025 racing season.
